About

Luis Cristobal is a police action and negligent security expert witness and consultant.  As an honorably retired thirty-year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), he provides litigation support to attorneys in both criminal and civil cases, focusing on police action and negligent security cases.  He also provides security consulting services to entities and individuals to help them ensure that they are maintaining a proper standard of care in their daily operations.

Luis Cristobal brings a unique perspective to the field of litigation services and consulting due to his extensive experience and knowledge as a front-line supervisor and investigator in law enforcement.  Over the course of his thirty-year career with the Miami-Dade Police Department, he became a true "been there, done that" type of individual, developing a high level of expertise in the application of police policy and practice.  An expertise level that was further sharpened by nearly two decades of supervisory duty, providing the community he served with service and safety.

Luis Cristobal is a graduate of the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Additionally, Luis Cristobal earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Miami-Dade College.

Luis Cristobal is a member of ASIS International. He is also a member of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).
